  1. I will say about 1 out of 50 kids actually have something wrong with them when they present with anxiety or panic attacks. Normally I always trace the problem back to the parents not providing a safe structured environment. Kids don’t do well with environments that are not structured. The majority of kids I see the problem is usually the parents fighting and arguing in front of them and parents don’t understand how destructive that is for a child, even if it only happens once. I have 5 daughters and 1 son. I’ve literally never had a fight with my wife. We've never raised our voices at each other or towards the kids. We just change our tone and use key words that let them know play time is over. But I literally never saw my parents fight a single time or yell at each other. So for me that’s taboo but you would be surprised how many parents just do all of this stuff around the kids. Or parents getting divorced the kid blames themselves. I always do a detailed evaluation on key items. #1 when did the problem start? #2 what was going on in the child’s life at that time. 99% of the time I find out a divorce, affair, alcoholic parent, moving locations, new school, death in the family, and etc. I could go on but I always find the stars align with when a kid starts having a problem with anxiety/tachycardia/hypertension.

  2. Upper Cervical adjusting. I have a patient who started seeing me years ago with this same diagnosis. I started adjusting her upper cervical and she no longer has that diagnosis. I'm not an upper cervical only chiropractor either. I am CBP trained, but also trained in Upper Cervical and Zone Technique. I also perform a different version of the Ring Dinger called Chrane Condyle Lift. Anyway, I would get her to an Upper Cervical specific chiropractor…Knee Chest, Atlas Orthogonal, or Orthospinology. I bet that would do the trick. My opinion. I wish her the best.
On another note…posturally, she has a HUGE left head translation (shift) along with a left thoracic flexion. Gotta get rid of that head translation (shift). I would put her side posture, left side up, allow her head to shift down to the Right, then drop on it. And get her to do head translation exercises in front of a mirror.

  6. Bless her! Glad she’s getting some relief. I have idiopathic intracranial hypertension also. Doctors don’t really know what causes a person to develop it. Discovered in 2018 when my ophthalmologist found my optic nerves had become swollen. Lots of eye tests and MRIs. I’m one of the fortunate patients – I don’t have the painful headaches. My only real symptom was the swollen optic nerves (papilledema). Testing shows my field of vision is still good. I had a lumbar puncture to reduce my high pressure readings to a normal level. (My opening pressure was 40. Normal is below 20.) I’m on the Keto diet to reduce inflammation and lose weight. But, I’m not on any other Meds for this condition. I have regular follow-up monitoring checks with my neuro-ophthalmologist and my regular ophthalmologist. I also have narrow angle glaucoma – and use eyedrops to control my eye pressure. This is a separate unrelated condition. But, it was discovered during a regular eye exam. Monitoring this glaucoma is why we caught the IIH so quickly. These days – people buy those cheater magnifying eyeglasses over-the-counter. It’s a good option for many of us. But, please get a good eye exam to check the health of your eyes. It could save your vision.
✳️ Folks – get your eyes checked regularly.
