I didn't see any thing place on patient's face to make certain nerve damage wasn't done.

It's annoying waking up in the mornings and you have face the consequence of hearing regular sounds as gunshots, before accommodating to normal hearing.
I had my surgery when I was 3 years old. Now I'm 15 years old. I have 2 chocalers, one for each side.
I'm having this done on this Tuesday! So terrified about the pain! What should I except? To be on pain meds all I'm life.

YES I HAD THIS PROCEDURE DONE AS ANY SURGERY YOU ARE TERRIFIED, HOWEVER, IT WENT EXCELLENT ONLY AFFECT WAS I WAS VERY NAUSEOUS AND I BELIEVE IT WAS THE ANESTHESIA ONCE I CAME TO. IT IS A WONDER, WHAT TECHNOLOGY HAS DONE. I WILL BE HONEST AND VERY SADDEN MY MOST FAVORITE PLEASURE HAS ALWAYS BEEN MUSIC, I LOST THAT, I NO LONGER LISTEN, DANCE TO IT MY OTHER PASSION, AND IT MAKES ME SAD. BUT I THANK GOD FOR ALLOWING MR HEAR WHAT I CAN I RATHER THIS THAN LOSING MY SENSE OF SMELL AND HAVE SIGHT. I STILL HEAR BIRDS CHIRPING IT'S A MY BEAUTIFUL MUSIC.

.waiting for complt result..gng to audiothreapist day by day.my ear prblm is neuropathy prblm.so waiting reault..finally i have not settld my carrier life..because suffering ear loss..trying to get job..anybody implatation patients give to opprtunity in carrier
